Pine Run is a community of single-family homes in the Far West End of Henrico County in Richmond, Virginia. A unique neighborhood noted for classic colonial architecture and spacious wooded lots, Pine Run's 279 homes were built beginning in May of 1981. The subdivision is served by three of the finest public schools in Henrico County: Gayton Elementary, Byrd Middle School and Godwin High School.
Located two miles south of Broad Street off of Lauderdale Drive, Pine Run is convenient to shopping, movie theaters and restaurants in and around the Short Pump Town Center. But the neighborhood is far enough away from the action to retain its leafy serenity.
Residents belong to the Pine Run Association, Inc., which maintains the covenants of the neighborhood's eight sections. The association also sponsors a lively calendar of children's events and adult social gatherings.
